Weekly, Pasadena Magazine, The Squaw Valley Review, Slake: Los Angeles, and Literary Pasadena: The Fiction Edition. She writes about proximities, distances, and the ingredients of place. Her piece "Artichoke" was listed as a Notable Essay in Best American Essays 2011.
